Architectural Honesty

Building from streetThis concept implies that the building is what it is, instead of pretending to be something it isn't. For example, the beams and truss shown here actually support the roof, instead of being bolted on for show as in some buildings.

"Best looking building in Lake County"

View of fireplaceAccording to Bobbie Brassfield, proprietor, many people have stopped by just to complement her on her new building, offering remarks like the one above, and then leaving without tasting any wine. I think this is sad, as the wine is excellent. They have been serving up:

  • A pleasantly tart Sauvignon blanc
  • A more citrusy Fume blanc
  • A delicate Pinot noir with good oak balance
  • A Cabernet Sauvignon with deep fruit flavors
